DampRid Moisture Detection Strips accurately measure the level of humidity in the air, helping you identify areas where excess moisture is a problem. They're easy to use, too. Simply unwrap one of the Moisture Detection Strips and place it on any surface in the area you want to measure. The blue dots will gradually begin to change color to purple and then pink to indicate the level of moisture in the air. After 2 hours, the highest dot that changes to purple or pink indicates the level of moisture in your space. If the 60%+ dot changes to purple or pink, there is excess moisture in the air. If the 60%+ dot remains blue, moisture levels are within an acceptable range.
